Cyrano de Bergerac

Written by Edmond Rostand
Prospect Park | Foul Fiend Theatre Troupe

Cyrano de Bergerac has everything she could need; a quick wit, unmatched swordsmanship, and a gift with the pen. The one thing she does not have however, is the love of her childhood friend, the beautiful and intellectual Roxane. Too afraid of what would happen if her love was discovered by the wrong person, or if Roxane were to reject her, Cyrano has only loved from afar. However, when it is revealed that Roxane loves the handsome, yet dull witted, Christian de Neuvillette, Cyrano concocts a plan to write letters in Christians place, wooing Roxane by proxy.
